Intro To Lead Climbing

The Lead Climbing Class prepares climbers for the sharp end.  In this class you will learn how to lead belay (w/ a Gri Gri), communicate and check gear, properly clip, and fall as safely as possible.

After completing this class, you must practice your new skills. Once you feel confident and proficient, schedule a time to take the Lead Test to receive your certification band.

Pre-requisites
Must be Level 2 belay certified or equivalent
Must be able to climb 5.9
Must have your own harness, shoes, and an assisted braking belay device
Must be 16 or older to Lead Climb or Lead Belay without adult supervision
