SWAMP COMP - Citizens Rope Climbing Competition @ Vertical Ventures St. PeteSaturday, March 1st Check-in & Registration: 5pm - 6pm Rules: 5:45pm - 6pm Climbing: 6pm - 9pm Results + Prizes: 9:30pm-ish   How it Works This is a redpoint format competition. Each competitor has 3 hours to complete the most difficult routes they can. Points are given for every route completed, with harder routes being worth more points. Each competitor's final score is the sum of their 5 highest scoring routes. Who Can Compete? The Swamp Comp is open to all climbers.  You may not compete if you are competing in the USAC Youth Lead/TR Qualifying Event on Saturday 3/1. Routesetting for the USAC Youth Lead./TR Qualifying Event and Swamp Comp will begin Monday, 2//24. All competitors competing in the USAC Youth Qualifying Event will not be allowed admission into the facility beginning 2/24 until competition day. Those Competing in the Swamp Comp are not allowed to climb ropes and will be limited to bouldering only starting 2/24 until competition day. Who Can Come? Spectators are welcome and encouraged!
