The Level 2 Top Rope Belay Class will teach you more specific skills for top rope climbing. Skills include: how to tie a retraced figure 8, proper setup of GRI GRI belay device, belaying a climber without ground anchors, as well as proper positioning while belaying. This is the minimum ability level needed to acces our "Pit" climbing area. Pre-Requisites Must be 13 or older Must be Level 1 belay checked Must be able to climb 5.9 $30 for Members | $40 for guests

Steep vs Slab: The Two Extremes With: Lais and Whit A safe space to create an uplifting, supportive environment within the climbing community. Get involved, feel seen, and grow together. Join VV superstars, Jiar and Lais, for a night of climbing, community and crushing! You'll have exclusive use of the facility. This class is all about trying new styles of climbing! Using your core and upper-body can be daunting on steep terrain, while being slow and technical can be nerve-wracking on slab, too! Whatever style you are not-so-comfy with, Laís will be there to guide you through. Sunday, July 21st 6:00 - 8:00pm
