The Level 2 Top Rope Belay Class will teach you more specific skills for top rope climbing. Skills include: how to tie a retraced figure 8, proper setup of GRI GRI belay device, belaying a climber without ground anchors, as well as proper positioning while belaying. This is the minimum ability level needed to acces our “Pit” climbing area.
Pre-Requisites
Must be 13 or older
Must be Level 1 belay checked
Must be able to climb 5.9
